No cats were harmed in the making of this album. Legend has it that Scarlatti had a pet cat called Pulcinella, who was described by the composer as prone to walking across the keyboard, always curious about its sounds. On one occasion, Scarlatti wrote down a phrase from one of these "improvisation sessions", and used it as a lead motif in a fugue.

In the future the days of having a burst of ego-spiration, writing blocks of notation, organizing them on a square page, then declaring it worthy of 100 or more musicians robotically mimic these abstract commands are over. Get rid of the middlemen including the conductor. Electronic extensions of music technology allow the expression of ideas spontaneously like superpowers emanating from your hands or any means of input. In fact the Step.4D (or cat) reverses the situation and plays me like an instrument, exposing something beyond what I could devise, myself, brain diminished, from restrictions imposed by societal norms. Here's to more deviance!
